Wichita is a large city located in southern Kansas, where there are boring outskirts and acres of flat out nothing. Old town is in the middle of downtown Wichita and whenever I think of Wichita, I see in my head the jumping fountains, park benches, and the warren theatre. Wichita may be boring to some people but when you have lived here your entire life you tend to find fun things to do in your spare time. Old town is a place to go in Wichita because of the people, scenery, and entertainment. When people get together in old town they go for the fountain of water that jumps from one area to another. Kids laughing and playing in the cool water on a hot summer day, the colored tiles keeping your feet cold and the nice Kansas breeze whipping past you are just some things to expect if you ever visit Old town. The warren theatre is one of Wichita’s most talked about pieces of entertainment because it is the best theatre in town. When you walk into the theatre the cool air and smell of popcorn fills your entire body. The Old town warren theatre is the most exciting place to go for entertainment if you love movies because of the number of screens and different movies they are able to play at the same time. The atmosphere all together just something to look forward to when you are in Old town.
